Smithson Plaza, London
Smithson Plaza, originally designed by renowned architects Alison and Peter Smithson in 1964, remains a celebrated example of modernist architecture in the heart of London. In 2018, the site was thoughtfully reimagined and renamed to honour its creators, achieving Grade II Listed status to protect its architectural heritage.
Beatties, Wolverhampton
Beatties in Wolverhampton is a landmark building with over 140 years of history, having served the community as a beloved department store since 1877. Originally owned and operated by the Beatties family until 2005, it was later taken over by House of Fraser before closing its doors in 2020.
The Church of St. Michael, Bicester
The church’s origins date back to the Saxon period, with evidence of a place of worship on the site recorded in the 11th century. Much of the current structure was built in the late 11th or early 12th century and remains a fine example of early medieval architecture and craftsmanship.
