SUMMARY
The Royal Buckinghamshire Hospital is an 18th century Grade II listed, landmark building in the centre of Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. Designed by Architect, David Brandon on a pavilion layout influenced by Florence Nightingale who proclaimed that it will be the most beautiful hospital in England. She was not wrong as our 21st century 3D Measured Building Survey demonstrates.
Surveybase Limited were appointed by a leading development consultancy based in the North West. Our Clients are prominent UK BIM consultants, and the survey brief included a full Topographical Survey, 3D Laser Scan Survey and construction of a 3D Survey Model.
The period Georgian facades are represented with precision using Autodesk Revit software. The Model is entirely built using Revit’s “in-house” system families and is the perfect foundation for the wider BIM design process.
