In reaction to Grenfell the Government is reviewing the safety of Local Authority Tower Blocks. As a result, we have been appointed to carry out a series of Measured Building Survey of high-rise residential buildings throughout the UK including, London, Reading, Croydon, Swindon, and Bristol.
The brief is consistent requiring the full basement and ground floor plans, communal spaces on each additional level, roof plan, elevations, Topographical Survey and GPR Underground Utilities Mapping survey.
We use the latest 3D Laser Scanning technology to deliver a precision point cloud file. The survey is controlled using spheres and targets recorded by Laser Scan and in the Topographical Survey. If safe access is not available at roof level, we deploy our UAV Drone Survey instruments.

The Utilities Mapping survey is delivered with Ground Penetrating Radar equipment and follows the PAS128 procedures.
An important part of the survey is to record existing fire protection systems including sensors, alarms, and sprinklers.
