Leys Pools & Leisure Centre offers an extensive range of facilities, including a standard 25-metre pool with eight lanes and a moveable floor, an 8-metre learner pool, and a toddlers’ splash pool. The centre also features a sauna room, a café, a fully-equipped 35-station air-conditioned gym, an eight-court sports hall, a soft play area, and two multi-purpose studios for various activities, classes, and events.
The survey brief entailed creating a comprehensive 3D Revit (BIM) model of Blackbird Leys Pools & Leisure Centre, delivering LOD4 façade and LOD3 internal modelling standards, including a detailed MEP survey of the control room, surveying the void spaces of the false ceilings along with the additional output of 2D floor plans.
Leys Pool and Leisure Centre is set to receive funding to include a new youth hub. This redevelopment is made possible through a partnership bid secured by Oxford City Council in collaboration with Oxfordshire County Council.

Our approach with 3D appointments is to begin with an online consultancy meeting. Providing time to familiarise ourselves with the wider design team, the meeting is an opportunity to explore the survey brief and approve the BIM specification.
