SUMMARY

The digital Topographical and Measured Building Survey of the Grade II listed Georgian residence in Bradford On Avon, near Bath Somerset.

Bradford on Avon thrived as a result of the wool industry and retains many landmark 17th century buildings.

This substantial townhouse is a fine example of early Georgian architecture. The property is built with stone elevations and elegant symmetrical and is arranged over four floors.

Surveying heritage property is an expert undertaking. Consideration must be given to the record of period architectural features and in the conservation of the building fabric including furniture and textiles. As a responsible practice we take great care during the survey operation minimising contact with the building and its contents. Our ambition is to leave the property without trace cleaning up wherever required.

The survey was undertaken with a Leica RTC360 Laser Scanner, Trimble Total Station, and GPS instrument. We generated precision 2D Floor Plans, Roof Plan, Elevations, Sections, and a Topographical Site Plan. The survey drawings will form the foundation for the ongoing conservation of this historically important building.
