St Mary the Virgin Church in Reading is a Grade II listed building with origins as a Saxon church. It was later simplified in a Calvinistic style, featuring a flat ceiling and a royal coat of arms. The church has six bells, with the most recently added bell requiring reinforcement of the tower due to its weight.
The church preserves a wealth of history, including stone monuments of local families and medieval brasses, such as that of a royal wine taster, highlighting its deep ties to royal patronage.
Surveybase were appointed to deliver a 3D Revit BIM Survey of the building, providing a precision 3D BIM Model delivered to our standard LOD4 facades and LOD3 internal modelling specification.
