Heatherbank Golf Club is a well-established golf club set within attractive parkland surroundings, featuring an 18-hole course, clubhouse facilities, practice areas, access roads and extensive landscaped grounds.
With future planning and development activities requiring accurate and reliable site information, the project called for a detailed understanding of both the existing buildings and the wider estate. Careful planning was essential to ensure survey works could be carried out efficiently while minimising disruption to club operations, members and visitors.
Surveybase were appointed to deliver an 2D survey package across the golf club and its facilities. The scope included a detailed topographical survey of the course surroundings, access routes and external areas, alongside a measured building survey of the clubhouse and associated structures.
By combining multiple surveying disciplines within a coordinated workflow, the project team benefited from a single, accurate source of information that could be relied upon throughout the planning and design process. This approach helped improve project coordination, reduce uncertainty and support more informed decision-making.
