This Grade II listed church dates back to the 1920s. Plans were first considered in 1913 but were delayed by the outbreak of war.
After the armistice, it was decided the church should also serve as a memorial to the fallen. The building was completed in 1927 and dedicated to St George by the Bishop of Salisbury.
