Survey Base were appointed by Childs and Sulzmann Architects to provide a Revit (BIM) model of a prominent apartment building in Hyde Park. The complexity of this project was in organising access with various high profile residents who spend long periods overseas. The scan proceeded in 3 split phases and needed careful management to ensure the precision registration of the point cloud data. At over 600 scans the project was once our largest Laser Scan undertaking. Although the scale of the project has since been eclipsed the resulting model remains an excellent example of the Scan to BIM workflow.
