Building D24 was once an active testing facility for the nearby nuclear power station. Now redundant and in the ownership of the Stroud and Gloucester College it’s about to be transformed into a specialist education facility for this growing area of energy production. Due to its former life the building was immensely complex harbouring various structural frames to support the many activities taking place. The model in particular provides insight into the challenges this project presented and a tribute to the dedication of the technicians who worked on it.
