Oxford Materials, Oxford
The Department of Materials at the University of Oxford was founded in the 1950s. The institute is a world leading research centre in the broad fields of structural and nuclear materials, device materials, polymers and biomaterials, nanomaterials, processing and manufacturing, characterization, and computational materials modelling.
Today’s campus is a community of 10 academic buildings constructed in the 1970’s. The architecture represents the style of the era with monolithic concrete towers and extensive glazed elevations. It has a futuristic character that has inspired the many students over the decades.
Our survey brief included a Land Topographical Survey and a Measured Building Survey that delivered a site plan to OS Datum, roof plan and 4 elevation plans.
This is the latest in a series of measured surveys for the University of Oxford; an association of which we are extremely proud.
